BAK Group Awarded Asphalt Recycling Project of 32 km in Ras al Khaimah, UAE

Bader Ahmed Kaiksow Group has been awarded the asphalt recycling project by the Government of Ras al Khaimah – Public Works and Services Department in the United Arab Emirates on January 22, 2015.

The contract was signed by Director of BAK Group Hassan Bader Kaiksow and Director General Eng. Ahmed Al Hammadi from the Public Works and Services Department with the presence of Mr. Mohamed Bader Kaiksow from BAK Group and Eng. Ayman Sharshara, Project Manager of RAK Department of Public Works and Services. The distance of the project will be 32 km long. The recycling will help to minimize the demand of oil which is a non-renewable resource and will eliminate the dumping of the old asphalt into crowded landfills, thus saving the environment. It also helps conserving energy and reducing carbon dioxide emissions significantly. In addition to the environment benefits, cost savings will be substantial.
